Si3N4-SiC bonded riser tube
Silicon Nitride, mainly consistaing of Si3N4, is a gray hard and solid high performance ceramic material sythesized through several chemical reaction methods. STA offer three sintering methods for Silicon Nitride, Gas Pressure Sintering(GPSN), Hot Press Sintering(HPSN) and Reaction-Bonded Sintering(RBSN). Parts are pressed and sintered by well devoloped methods to achieve the outstanding properties.

This high performance ceramic material has the strongest covalent bond properties next to silicon carbide, it's used as high temperature ceramic components due to its superior hardness, strength and excellent thermal shock resistance, these properties make it ideal for use in mechanical, thermal and wear  applications. 

Although Silicon Nitride has high hardness, we owns strong machining ability to meet customers' requests on

sophisticated designs, tigth tolerances and smooth surface.

1. Longer service life of forming rolls. Service life of silicon nitride forming rolls is about 9 times and 2~3 times longer than that of metal and tungsten carbide forming roll, respectively.

2. Higher working temperature. Silicon nitride forming rolls could be used at , temperature up to 1000°C. While generally, steel forming rolls can only be used below 300°C
